How to Convert PGM to PSD

PSD is Photoshop's native format, and bringing PGM output into Photoshop is useful when a researcher or developer wants to visually inspect, annotate, or further edit grayscale results from an image-processing pipeline using a familiar editing interface. Converting PGM to PSD decodes the raw grayscale data and saves it as a single-layer PSD file, ready for further editing without needing Photoshop to handle PGM directly.

This doesn't add any editable layer structure beyond what the original PGM file had — it's a single flattened image either way — but it provides a reliable starting point for adding annotations, masks, or composites on top of the original pipeline output.

1. Install Batchify Image Converter and Resizer Pro on your Windows PC.
